Music from the Heart

The Dulcimer player sits in a quiet place-

Head down-

Concentration on the face-

Hands poised over the instrument,

Ready to receive music from the heart.

A tune comes forth,

People pass by-

Some stop to listen.

Feet tap to the music from the heart.

Some feet are small, some large, some wear sandals or boots.

The feet stop-

They tap to the music from the heart.
