I am very happy to be able to announce that the 13th Annual Pilot Mountain Bowed Dulcimer Festival will take place here in lovely Pilot Mountain, North Carolina on April 7, 8, and 9. I haven't updated the website yet, but all the information there is correct except the dates. For all the details, go to http://www.boweddulcimer.org. I hope to see many of you there. For those of you who live in the area, this is an opportunity to see what the bowed dulcimer is all about and anyone is welcome at the jams in the evening.

I am already starting to get registrations for the festival!! Yeaaa!! I have a few ideas but I am always open to suggestions for topics to cover. This can be technique, repertoire, anything that has puzzeled you over the last year or some area you would like to address. There are quite a few new people signing up and I look forward to seeing you all here in April.

Just a reminder to anyone in the area. I'll be doing a concedrt tomorrow evening at the Friends Meeting on Main Street here in Pilot Mountain. We have a great group of bowed dulcimer players in town for the festival including one stalwart soul from England! The doors open at 7:30, concert starts at 8:00. There will be a jam back at the hotel here in Pilot open to anyone who wants to come. Hope to see ome of you out there.
