I'm off to teach at Kentucky Music week, but before I leave, here's a video of me playing and singing a great old humorous ballad. "Our Goodman" or "Four Nights Drunk" has versions all over the English speaking world, and dates back several hundred years. This version comes from the Ozarks:

This week I offer a lovely 14th century dance tune I learned in way back in college. First I play it a traditional drone style, and then I set in a more contemporary chord-melody style.
