Dave Lynch in hospital

Postby folkfan » Mon Sep 25, 2017 11:48 pm

Hi, Dave wanted me to let people know that he's been hospitalize with intense pain in the abdomen and chest. As I understand the doctors have pretty well thrown out the idea of a heart attack and they are doing tests to check out the kidneys, liver, and the gall bladder. He hopes to be out by Thursday, but I'll keep you informed as to his progress. Please keep him in your thoughts, Thanks, his sis, folkfan/Keigh

During the ultrasound today they found a gall stone and an infection. They took out the gall stone during the procedure, so he wasn't cut open. The ultrasound is suppose to give a clearer picture of the major organs. So what it will show is still unknown, but I'm praying that it is just his gall bladder that's the problem. Gall stones are nasty.

It is the gall bladder and it needs to come out. After all that pain, I can certainly see why it's got to go. But Dave isn't looking forward to it.

If they can do it laproscopically, he shouldn't worry about it at all. My wife had it done and wished she hadn't waited so long. Immediate relief, no pain, little recovery needed, and no big scars. Good luck to Dave!

My wife also had her surgery by laparoscopy. It went well and she was back up to speed quickly.

My wife and I hold Dave in prayer. My wife had gall bladder surgery in February, it went smoothly with the laproscopic technique. Hope for Daves speedy recovery. Tony and Domenica
