Does anyone have the tab for The Green Rolling Hills of West Virginia? Recorded by Emmylou Harris and just beautiful!

That's copyright protected. You can probably find guitar chords and work out your own arrangement.

We probably won't make a copyrighted song available in a tablature file here on ED, but there may be some others out there who pay the fee to sell the tab. Ron Zuckerman has dabbled in this on a few tunes and Tull Glazener has arranged tablature for copyrighted tunes also (just two people of whom I am aware). The sales process each of these people use for selling copyrighted material manages the payments for royalties to the owner of the tunes.

In a different path, if you were planning to sing this song, the chords are very simple and the melody almost follows the chords for a dulcimer tuned CGG (you might be able to pick the melody just playing the chords). The url below is for a site that has the lyrics and the chords.

If you want to play it in a D tuning, just substitute C with a D, G7 with an A or A7, and F with a G. Depending on your dulcimer tuning (DAA or DAD), you can experiment with the chord forms to find the sound you like the best. I tried a few bars with DAA tuning and the 302 for a D, 403 for an A or A7, and 313 for a G made some nice chords for accompaniment.
