The Everything Dulcimer Classifieds are offered as a service. It's an opportunity for you to make contact with folks that have things or services they want to buy or sell. Everything Dulcimer and Dulcimer Players News doesn't get involved in any way with deals and transactions that result from these contacts. In light of this, feedback, whether positive or negative, is not welcome in the Classifieds. Please be cautious as you negotiate a sale or trade.

1. Classifieds are for the sale or trade of personally owned items or services only. Selling items or services for others is not permitted.

2. The asking price or trade value must be included in your post.

3. Pictures or links to pictures are recommended, but they're not required.

4. All negotiation should be private. Don't debate or haggle in the Classifieds.

5. You place your classified by clicking New Topic when in the appropriate section for the kind of item you want to sell, ie., if you want to sell your mountain dulcimer it would go in the Mountain Dulcimer Instruments section, a pair of hammers would go in the Hammered Dulcimer Accessories section, etc. The photo below points to the New Topic button within the Mountain Dulcimer Instruments section:

If you aren't registered, you'll need to go to the Home page and click Create An Account. The link is found just below the login box.

7. Dealers and commercial resellers are asked to please not use the Classifieds to sell their wares. You are encouraged to place a free link to your business in the Dulcimer Pros section of Everything Dulcimer. You'll find a link to that section in the menubar at the top of this, and every page.

We hope you'll also consider advertising your product, or yourself with a banner ad. The prices are reasonable and it helps offset the cost of hosting and maintaining a site of this magnitude. Click here if you'd like to advertise on Everything Dulcimer.

Hi,

Thanks for this service! A boon to the community. I am a hand-builder of mountain dulcimers, not a dealer or reseller. Should I post here? or purchase an advertisement? I have a 3-month sale I'd like to get word out about.

I have a 1986 Green River Dulcimer For Sale. I bought this dulcimer from Bill Walker (Owner of Green River Dulcimers) in September of 1986 at his shop in Asheville NC. I was sorry to hear he has passed.

It is in pristine condition and sounds like the mountains.

Asking $400

Thanks

Bud

Bob Mize Mountain Dulcimer in excellent condition, has a wall bracket as well. Original owner from my UU Congregation wanted it to go to a good home and be played, I already have two. This has half frets and is marked 1992 24 inside in addition to his address label and the engraved "Mize" before 1st fret. Almost went for 50 bucks until I realized I had something much more valuable.

Benefits the Church, not me.

This Dulcimer has found its new owner. And benefits my church. Now on to courage to sell the 1936 Martin Bent Top Mandolin that came up in the Rummage sale and is fully reconditioned by a professional luthier.
