New and Used Mountain Dulcimers

Blue Lion Force-d'Ossche Six String

Postby jospehjh » Wed Apr 05, 2017 8:02 pm

Made of Sitka Spruce Top, Acacia Wood sides and back (Acacia wood currently is no longer available in U.S.), Rosewood Fingerboard with single Rose Overlay, 22 frets , Upgraded Gold Tuners and a L.R. Braggs internal pickup. This dulcimer was made in 2005 for Aaron O'Rourke and I am the second owner. It is in Great condition with a fitted hard case. It has actually been played very little, sounds fantastic and shows almost brand new. I have a couple other dulcimers, one made by my personal friend J.C. Bradshaw, which I play most of the time. This Blue Lion dulcimer, I was told cost about a $1500 when Aaron O'Rourke first owned it. I am asking $975 plus shipping costs. There are 2 pictures of it attached.

Ken, Sorry about that! I thought I uploaded them last night with the ad. I have emailed Bruce to see if I am doing something wrong and will post the pics as soon as I can. Thanks for letting me know that they didn't post. Joe H.

Ken, Thanks for showing me how to upload the pics. I didn't know I had to resize them also. Anyway, I learned something new. The pics are now posted. Thanks again.

The Acacia back and sides on this dulcimer is stunning and that's a great deal for this dulcimer. I honestly wish I could afford to buy it back from you!
