Tom Fellenbaum lives in Black Mtn, NC. He builds celtic mandolins and mtn dulcimers. I am selling my many dulcimers to get down to two! This one is sweet!!! It plays so easy. It's hard to explain what I mean by that but it is the easiest to play dulcimer that I own. It has a sweet sound! Tom is an excellent craftsmen. As you look this dulcimer over, you cannot find a flaw. I said I would not sell it but I cannot play more than 2 dulcimers realistically.

Teardrop Style

Flat Head

Back and sides curly cherry

Top is Quilted Big Leaf Maple - Gorgeous and sounds good too!

Ebony Fretboard

26 3/8 scale length - short scale

1 1/2 fret, and 8 1/2 fret

Bone Nut - slotted for double melody or 4 equal distand spacing

plush chipboard case

Sides are 2 3/16 ; if you include fretboard 3 in plus

Extra options include:

Curly Cherry on back

Quilted Big Leaf Maple soundboard

Ebony fretboard

Ebony tuners and buttons

I live in Michigan and will ship the most economic way that I can. Tom has his price list on his website:

I figured with the extra's it would cost $745 new.

I am selling for $425 which I think is a very good price. You will love this one! give me a call, and I can send more pictures as well.

Wonder if you would consider a trade? I have s mcspadden baritone that I string as a standard. Stunning ebony fretboard. Sides and back are bookmatched walnut, all solid wood. This is one beautiful dulcimer.
