SOLD

Offered for sale is my Jerry Rockwell dulcimer built November 9th, 1989. I am the second owner of this fine dulcimer and purchased it directly from the original owner many years ago. Here are the details:

• Dulcimer is 33.5 inches long
• Vibrating String Length is 28 inches
• Fretboard is just shy of 1.5 inches wide
• Body is 1.75 inches deep
• Perfect intonation up and down the fretboard
• Instrument grade laminate back
• Solid walnut sides, soundboard, fretboard and headstock
• Floating bridge for intonation fine-tuning depending on string gauge used
• Double melody configuration that can also be setup as 4 equi-distant strings
• The dulcimer is in perfect original condition with no dings, dents, scratches, etc.

When I bought this dulcimer I talked with Jerry and this was an early design to his teardrop shaped “Yam” that he was recently building…except this is a full sized instrument with 28 inch VSL.

The sound is surprisingly warm and rich with good volume and projection. The action is very comfortable to play and intonation is perfect. The dulcimer will be shipped with a new set of strings installed and the original cloth draw string case that came with it.

Here’s your chance to own a Jerry Rockwell dulcimer at a fraction of the cost of new…price reduced to $200 with $25 for well packed shipping and insurance. Email with questions to: steve(at)kennycreations(dot)com

Thanks.

Last drop in price. It's really a great dulcimer and if it doesn't sell I'm going to keep it.
