Postby hc1987 » Thu Apr 30, 2015 1:35 pm

I’m looking to sell my James Jones 15/14 Student Model hammered dulcimer. It was built in 2000 (more info at http://www.jamesjonesinstruments.com). It is in good condition with the exception of needing a few strings replaced. Comes in a sturdy soft case and with a stand, as well as one set of double-sided hammers and a tuner. Asking for $300 (was $550 new), price negotiable.
Contact Heather six-one-seven-nine-five-nine-four-eight-three-five (location Boston, MA).

I also have a James Jones 15/14 model dulcimer (not a student model) that I purchased a couple years ago off ebay. I had James put new strings on it about two years ago. I have since purchased another dulcimer from James Jones and would be willing to sell my 15/14 model. If you are interested, please contact me and I will give you more information.

Rondav -
I sent you an email message, but haven't heard back so am following up with this post.
Yes, I am definitely interested in learning more about your instrument!
Should explain that I'm not experienced with posting on this list. What is the best way to contact you?

I got your email message, but evidently you didn't receive my reply. My dulcimer was made in 1989 and is number 257. It does have scratches and dings, but nothing that affects playing the instrument. As I said, it was restrung by James two years ago. It has a wonderful sound and stays in tune. It comes with a sitting stand, a pair of hammers, and a t-wrench for tuning. If you are still interested, let me know and I will attach some pictures. My email address is rondavanover@gmail.com.

I sold my James Jones custom dulcimer. Note this is not the original dulcimer listed in this post.
