Ptarmigan. Thanks for the links on the Langeleik. I've known about them for a long time, but I've never seen anyone play one.

There is a MD group in Guelph, ON. I'm not sure how many people are in it. I guess they don't belong to ED, though. They seem to have taken their web page down. There is also a Southwestern Ontario HD group. The area served by this group is very large. I'm not sure how many members there are as I haven't attended any meeting for awhile.

I'm in England, but there's at least one md player in Europe - David Prat Duran in Spain. Having said that, last time I looked I was in Europe too! ;)

Aye Gordon, I'm always keen to portray the UK & Ireland as part of Europe too, but in this case, I was just nosey to see how many players lived in my immediate neck of the woods!

By the way, is this you?: Gordon Brown ;)

Hey Jim, do you know Alice Springs Fiddle player Jennifer Mills?

I'm sure Fiddle & Dulcimer would sound great together ....... even in the 'outback'!

I live in the MOUNTAINS of North Carolina, but I'm originally from Canada, so I play there also.
