Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that the McSpadden I bought comes with a hard case as well. 8)

With a hard case as well??? You got an awesome deal!

Looking forward to seeing photos of your McSpadden!

Have you got a model number for it? That would tell us the body style, peghead style, and the wood used for its construction.

If it's a scroll peghead, definitely upgrade to the 4:1 geared tuners that McSpadden can sell or install for you! I got that done to my old 1998 M-12W a few years ago, and it made a HUGE improvement! The McSpadden shop can also modify your dulcimer so that it can take ball-end strings, in addition to the regular loop-end strings. ;)
