What's your ability?

I checked #2. Been playing about 1 1/2 years. Know between 50 and 100 songs now. Can read tab and music. Have been playing piano for over 60 years but still can't sight read music. Have to work at reading and memorizing a tune on the piano a long time. Gettiing better at reading and playing tab for the MD. But I agree with the post about having FUN! Don't think I ever had as much fun with the piano. I figure this will keep me happily occupied until it's time for me to check out! Wink Keep on strumming! Smile

I am "Beyond Beginner". I am expanding my repertoire, mostly hymns, and I am using some embellishments in my playing which puts me on the way to "Intermediate". I play for FUN, for ME. In fact the only time I played in public was this summer at Bible School. My wife made me. And then, of course, I had to play in church. It was "good". Now I am back to playing by myself out on our deck. Who knows, maybe the neighbors are listening. At least they haven't called the cops! Eric
