Looking for a Lap Harp

I found a bowed dulcimer. I'm still looking for a small harp,

Hi, Dick,

I have a three-string Pardessus and a four-string Octave Violin for sale. Both were made by Ken Bloom. I primarily play my new Master Model pocket cello that Ken made for me (tuned like a cello and easier for me to play since I also play a cello).

PM me if you're interested in either of these, and I'll take photos and provide more particulars

Hi again, Dick,

I don't have a lap harp, but I do have a hammered dulcimer for sale. It's a T.K. O'Brien, and comes with a stand, hammers, and case. Just don't have time to master it.

Dick - are you looking for a true harp, like an Irish harp? Or are you looking for a psaltery/zither like the ones I show here:

viewtopic.php?f=31&t=26458

Some people call those "lap harps" although they are not. Psalteries (zithers), lyres and dulcimers have the strings running across the top of the soundbox. Harps have the strings coming out at right angles to the soundbox not parallel to it.
