Antique parlor organ

Postby jhussar » Sun Jun 29, 2014 1:40 pm

1930 Antique spinet parlor organ made by Gulbransen. Gulbransen made only a few of these small pump organs in the 1930 this one is number 1101. It is in excellent condition all reeds work, the stops all function, ivory are all intact and the bellows are solid. It comes with a matching stool and a reed pulling tool. In 1980 the Reed organ society of the USA told me they knew of only one other of these little Gulbransens to be extant and valued it at $1000.00 at that time. I asked Gulbransen about the organ many years ago and was told it was made in the 1930 not many were made and very few were sold but that the factory had a fire in the 1960s that destroyed all the old records so they could be more specific than that. Asking $1000.00 OBO
