Well that happened quickly

I've been working at my job as a contractor for nearly 3 years. This means I show up to work at one company, but I get paid by a different company. The good news is that I'm working , the tough news is that as a contractor we have really bad health insurance (as I found out when I fell and shattered my arm this year) and no retirement plan.

Well after 3 years to company I work at has just offered me a full time position. Better insurance, a 401k with matching funds, and a sense of stability.

After 3 years this all came out of the blue last week. Next Monday is my first day as a new employee. Funny enough, I'll be working on the same project with the same people in the same cubicle I've been in for 3 years.

Congratulations, Greg. This is really good news. We wish you the best. Rest assured that you were offered the permanent position because of your excellent record while with them as a contractor. You earned your position, and that's the best way to do it. Keep up the good work.

Greg, that's great news! Best wishes in your new "old" position or is it vice versa? Anyway I am sure you will continue to do an excellent job. Enjoy the rewards of work well done.
