Today In Mountain Dulcimer History: 29 November 2001

The everythingdulcimer.com domain was registered by Bruce Ford. Bruce is a mountain and hammer dulcimer player who started the EverythingDulcimer.com idea to help the dulcimer community promote dulcimer playing by providing a place for enthusiasts to learn more about dulcimers, dulcimer history, dulcimer makers, provide support, and to help motivate them to play their instruments. EverythingDulcimer.com offers support for dulcimer clubs by providing a place to post info about their clubs and to publicize their group or festivals. The site also is a great place to find dulcimer tablature (tabs) of tunes that are in the public domain.

Ken Longfield and I may be the only original members left. Several have passed away, others disappeared into the bit-cloud. I joined the week Bruce started the site, and Ken a week later, if I remember right. There were 2 or 3 other 'real' members and a couple of 'test members' that Bruce had created.

Ken, according to the members list, you joined on March 15, 2002 at 7:16 p.m. and I joined on March 18 at 5:25 p.m.
