Here's an Uncle Ed Thomas dulcimore that sold at auction in March 19, 2015.

Description: J. Edward Thomas Walnut Mountain Dulcimer, Kentucky, 1927, the hourglass-shaped body with pierced hearts and a label affixed to the interior, numbered 1460, lg. 33 in.
Estimate $400-600
Sold for: $984

Looks very much like the Uncle Ed reproduction John Knopf made for me.
