SOLD ImageA solid-wood Cripple Creek mountain dulcimer came into my studio recently and desperately needs adoption to a new home. It's only owner is sad to part with it but must do so and wants it to go to a good home, where it will be played. I offered to help sell it for him.

This vintage instrument from Cripple Creek Dulcimers in Manitou Springs, Colorado, was built in 1990 as a special order.  (Serial Number: #200519)
Solid wood instrument featuring:  
Spruce top, walnut back and sides
Vine soundholes
Traditional design (no 6-1/2 fret)
4-strings in a 3-string layout (melody strings are doubled)  
Brand new strings.
Shorter scale-length:  27-7/8"
In Mint Condition, with responsive, bright tone.
Good, responsive action, no buzzing frets, good intonation.
Beautiful figuring in the back wood.
